For the production of the TTE465 upgrade turbocharger, TTE uses a special, milled 7 + 7 compressor wheel of the latest generation made of high-strength aluminum and very thin blades. It is not only larger than the series part , but also equipped with the extended tip technology. It therefore promotes significantly more air mass and still responds very early. The standard compressor housing is machined with a CNC milling machine so that it can accommodate the new wheel.
The 9-blade turbine wheel undergoes the tried and tested abrasion by TTE, the so-called clipping. The ends of the turbine blades are rounded to a certain contour, which increases the throughput, reduces the load on the turbine and thus reduces the exhaust gas back pressure.
The silencer installed in series on the compressor housing is removed in favor of a better flow and replaced by a CNC milled part. This measure not only improves the flow behavior of the compressed air, it also changes the sound of your new turbocharger and extends the surge limit of the charger.
The 360 ° bearing used ensures a higher load capacity. The standard pressure cell of the wastegate is adapted to the new environmental conditions by equipping it with a stronger spring. Thanks to the TTE brackets, the spring rate can even be further adjusted by the owner, if this is desired or necessary.
The extremely precise balance of every TTE turbocharger is a key element for longevity, sound and function, which is why TTE attaches great importance to this process. Each individual component is initially balanced at up to 2800 rpm in several levels. The trunk group is then assembled and dynamically balanced again in several levels at up to 250,000 rpm. At TTE, this process takes place on a VSR (Vibration Sorting Rig) balancing machine; each turbocharger is supplied with a balancing protocol that you can clearly assign to your TTE charger using the serial number, and which you can trace at any time with which values your turbocharger left the factory.

The price for the conversion of your series charger is only valid if you send us an operable, undamaged original charger. If the part sent is not suitable for conversion, you will receive a cost estimate after it has been dismantled. This charger is based on the IS20 charger, it fits plug & play on the small models, but can also be installed on the large MQB models.
The name of the turbocharger also indicates the maximum performance! As an example, a TTE350 creates approx. 350 hp and a TTE350 + a little more. Often, however, further modifications to the environment, i.e. engine, intake, AGA, etc. are necessary in order to achieve this performance target.
