The TTE680 hybrid turbochargers are the largest expansion stage for the popular N54 engines from BMW.
For the production of the TTE680 upgrade turbochargers, TTE uses light, milled compressor wheels. Not only are they larger than the standard parts, they are also equipped with the extended tip technology. They therefore convey significantly more air mass and still respond very early. The standard compressor housing is machined with a CNC milling machine so that it can accommodate the new wheel.
The larger turbine wheels with 9 blades are also clipped so that they can cope with the increased exhaust gas volume without generating too high exhaust back pressure. The ends of the turbine blades are rounded to a certain contour, which increases the throughput, reduces the load on the turbine and thus reduces the exhaust gas back pressure.
The reinforced TTE axial bearing ensures a higher load capacity.
The extremely precise balance of every TTE turbocharger is a key element for longevity, sound and function, which is why TTE attaches great importance to this process. Each individual component is initially balanced at up to 2800 rpm in several levels. The trunk group is then assembled and dynamically balanced again in several levels at up to 250,000 rpm. At TTE, this process takes place on a VSR (Vibration Sortin Rig) balancing machine.Each turbocharger is supplied with a balancing protocol that you can clearly assign to your TTE charger using the serial number, and which you can trace at any time with which values your turbocharger left the factory with.

The price for the conversion of your series loader is only valid if a pair of running, undamaged original loaders is sent. If the parts sent are not suitable for conversion, you will receive a cost estimate after dismantling.
The name of the turbocharger also indicates the maximum performance! As an example, a TTE350 creates approx. 350 HP and a TTE350 + a little more. Often, however, further modifications to the environment, i.e. engine, intake, AGA, etc. are necessary in order to achieve this performance target.
